a. A Personal usage license. The user purchases one license to use the Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express on one computer.

b. A Business usage license. The user purchases the Business usage license, authorizing the use of Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express to use the program in a corporate, government or business environment on one computer.

Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to use Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express on as many computers as defined by the licensing terms above according to the number of licenses purchased, for any legal purpose. The registered Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express software may not be rented or leased, but may be permanently transferred, in it's entirety, if the person receiving it agrees to the terms of this license. If the software is an update, the transfer must include the update and all previous versions.

4. The Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express Demo version may be freely distributed, with exceptions noted below, provided the distribution package is not modified in any way.

a. No person or company may distribute separate parts of the package with the exception of the Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express components, without written permission of the copyright owner.

b. The Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express Demo version may not be distributed inside of any other software package without written permission of the copyright owner.

c. Hacks/cracks, keys or key generators may not be included on the same distribution.

5. THE Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Express IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. NEITHER THE AUTHOR NOR THE AGENTS OF THE AUTHOR WILL BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

SINCERILY, I THINK THAT THIS TOOL IS EXCELLENT. I ONLY USE THE TRIAL VERSION, BUT I SAW THAT WE COULD USE IT IN MY WORK.

Good value for money

I had a corrupted inbox which was missing many of my important mails. I purchased this tool after using a trial download. This tool was able to successfully recover my mails from my corrupted inbox.

Some things that would be nice to have is provision to sort by date/sender etc., Filter-option for selecting messages for saving (for eg. by Sender, Date etc.). If the Messages are large in number, then it is hard to select one-by-one (if you want only a subset to be saved).

Not Suitable

I didn't find the tool helpful at all. I downloaded it as it was recommended from another site as my outlook express needed repaired, but it was of no use to me at all.

Recovery Toolbox reveiw

The Recovery Toolbox was able to see all of the email in the inbox. I did not need to recover the items because the client moved to full Outlook and brought the contacts over.

Not quite what I was looking for

I inadvertently inturrupted a OE compaction cycle, and lost all my inbox mails from Nov 2006 until May 2007. Whilst the product interrogated the inbox database OK, it did not recover the 6 or so months data that I had lost, so it didn't meet my needs....sorry

Success?

Well, let's see. After using of your program I still missed most of my e-mails for the last 2 month - My last backup was for 05.06.2007. Not exactly a big succes.

Didn't do what it is supposed too...

I downloaded this to see if this would get my messed emails and it didn't, I even paid for the program hoping that would work but of course not.

The program is esay to use, but I was not lucky to recover the lost information.

Very Useful Tool - Did the job.

Scenario :
My OE Inbox had grown quite large over the years. I usually remove mails and put them in folder annually like 2004, 2005 etc. This time the inbox had grown to 2Gb and as usual the IT guys didnt tell me the dangers of this. My OE stopped receiving mails from the ISP. The IT guys just blamed the ISP and laid back. Eventually OE stopped reading my inbox and I couldnt access anything from the inbox.

Solution :
- After a search on Google, i was able to identify that the problem was actually a result of a heavy inbox - mine was 2Gb+
- I dloaded the Recovery Toolbox.
- I 'copied' the Inbox file to another folder.
- I directed the software to that folder from where this utility would start reading the inbox.
- It read all my mail.
- I ticked all the mail for recovery (all was present)
- The software will save the email msgs as individual emls in another specified folder.
- Then i deleted the actual inbox.
- Opened OE
- Made folders
- Drag and dropped the respective emls into the folders.
- The latest emls for this year were safely dragged/dropped to the inbox.
- OE is working fine now. All data was recovered.

Software is easy, efficient and very useful when users are about to lose critical mail. The price is a bit steep since we only will probably need it rarely.

A good program to try.

But not completely fulfill my needs about data lost for outlook data. Maybe in the future some features need to be added.

great program to recover your emails

This program works very well and recovered every messaage from my corrupted Inbox file - over 4500 emails. Definitely worth the price, if you want those old emails you never bothered to backup.

Speaking of backing up, the program also can be used easily back up all messages in any folder you have in Outlook Express - just tell it you want to recover the messages in that folder, and create a folder to save them and it will
copy them all into the new folder for you.

One nice feature is that you can see if which emails it can recover before you actually buy it - the trial version will do everything but actually save your "recovered" emails,
so you know if it will work for you BEFORE you pay.

All in all, it's a good program at a fair price.

Program worked perfectly

I used this to recover email from a client's corrupt Outlook Express inbox. It was able to find all of the emails and recover them. Very easy to use. Worked like a charm. For the price, it's not worth fooling around with any other product.
